Our new Baltimore Fine Furnishings & Fine Craft Show,
May 2 & 3, will be held at the France-Merrick Performing Arts Center complex (Hippodrome) at 12 N. Eutaw St. in downtown Baltimore!

This fun, fresh piece from William Robbins - in Spring Green no less - is the "Gay Buffet". Want to see inside? Then come to the Baltimore show, meet Bill and see what's inside! It will be sure to delight you!

- The Show ENTRANCE is the door on W. Fayette Street
- There are plenty of PARKING garages next to the France-Merrick
- Starbucks, Lucy's Irish Pub & Restaurant just across the street

There are many new beautifully designed, handcrafted and innovative furniture pieces being created in workshops across America. Much of this new work is driven by client needs, new technology or both. Our shows will be full of these exciting new pieces in 2009. Here is just one example!

Recently completed & delivered, this fabulous piece was designed & handcrafted by Andrew Pitts for a client who wanted a television/snuff bottle/jewelry cabinet! Now there is a challenge and it is a beauty! Andrew will be showing in our new Baltimore Show!

 DELIGHTS & DISCOVERIES!

I was so delighted to see the mailman today that I wanted to shout "Welcome Home!" Not the mailman - but to the contents of the box.

I have had an "earring problem" lately. It's either age or eyesight or both but somehow during the last year I lost one of my Martha Sullivan earrings. This is a crisis as I have owned them for many years and wear them just about everyday. They are me. It was a tough thing to do but I switched to my "bear paw" earrings that I got in an open market in Santa Fe BUT managed to "donate" one of them to a lake in Wisconsin shortly thereafter. Common problem - I missed the hole in my lobe so they fell off at somepoint in the day. Might be the "1970's piercing".

I emailed Martha an SOS and you guessed it - she made me a new earring to match my lone ranger earring & it just came home! Artist made - handmade - was able to get a new one! As for the bear paw earring or anything from the retail stores - forget it - make the remaining one a pin and kiss the set goodbye. You know the point! Yet another great reason to buy HANDMADE IN AMERICA!

My discoveries have been centered around beautifully designed, handcrafted and innovative furniture pieces. The Design & Innovation section above is just the tip of the iceberg. Our shows will be filled with these types of pieces so come see and discover for yourself!
