There are many exciting developments in the works for our shows in Milwaukee & Providence this Fall.

For the first time ever the Chicago Furniture Designers Association (CFDA) will have a group display at the Milwaukee show!  The Maine Wood Products Association (MWPA) will return to the Providence Show with new & returning exhibitors and lots of new work!

We are currently working out the details on keynote speakers, presentations, special displays and demonstrations too so stay tuned for more details and announcements!

I just love the decision of which coffee mug to drink my coffee in each morning. My selection can be influenced in many ways - the day, the time, the weather, my mood - should it be the little Monroe Saltworks mug with the black crow? or the tall Marty Fielding mug with the polka dots? or the colorful Loren Chen with moon, stars and sunflowers? Regardless of the decision, I delight in the design of the mug, the feel of the craftsmanship, & the smell of the coffee!

I also love attending other shows - yes, it is a cost effective way for me to see the artists that exhibit in our shows and meet new ones - but it is also a way for me to see what is new without the distractions while in the midst of my own shows. At the ACC Baltimore show in February it was fun to discover some new work by Deborah Bruns-Thomas of BeeLine Studio. Table lamps, floor lamps & hanging lighting - and the shades are made out of teabags! Fabulous.
