Discover the Excitement at Providence
Show October 26 - 28

Appreciate Fine Crafts From Across North America
Visitors to the 12th Annual Fine Furnishings & Fine Craft Show – Providence, taking place on October 26 - 28 at the Rhode Island Convention Center, will have plenty of interesting new features to explore. One of the most exciting additions is the entirely new fine craft section where dozens of artisans from across North America will present fine handcrafted jewelry, wearables, glass, ceramics, and much more. Micki Whelan, the owner of the former Providence Craft Show that took place within and alongside the Fine Furnishings Shows for three years, has helped attract the best in the fine craft field as exhibitors. These new exhibitors occupy approximately 20% of the floor space.

Realize that Furniture & Furnishings Still Prevail
The primary focus of showcasing finely crafted furniture and decorative home accessories remains. The bulk of the show floor will continue to feature artisans presenting extraordinary custom furniture designed to fit a broad range of tastes. Complementing the furniture will be an exciting variety of handcrafted decorative home accessories and original art.

Over 30 furniture makers will be NEW to this year’s show! David Lunen of Lancaster, Pennsylvania will bring his traditionally designed work that has a contemporary twist. Joel Liebman of Hadley, Massachusetts utilizes a variety of materials and finishes to suit virtually any taste and design criteria. Coming all the way from Los Angeles, California is Todd Ouwehand who creates unique furniture through a symbiosis of graceful forms and solid functionalism. Since we can’t tell you about all of them here, you’ll have to come to the show to see their amazing work.

Find it! Love it! Buy it!
Explore 72,000 square feet in halls B, C & D at the Rhode Island Convention Center in downtown Providence. Luckily the show lasts three days because it could take that long to see everything!

Be Inspired by Designer Room Vignettes
Professional designers Lisa Goodman and Laurene McGarry will set up showcase rooms utilizing exhibitor work to illustrate how the exquisite handcrafted goods available at the show can be incorporated into your home. Lisa Goodman’s work has been featured in design publications and auctioned at SOTHEBY'S. She has been an instructor at The Rhode Island School of Design, and a visiting design critic at many leading design schools. She has written articles on how to incorporate artisan work into homes and businesses for The Guild and Upscale Living magazine. Laurene McGarry, has created client-pleasing interiors and exteriors throughout New England.

Obtain an Author Signed Book
An exciting new book on craft will be making its New England debut at the show. THE ARTFUL HOME: Using Art & Craft to Create Living Spaces You’ll Love shows the reader how to create a warm and expressive environment by thinking like an artist and envisioning their home as a canvas for displaying beautiful things. Toni Sikes, the book’s author and founder and CEO of The Guild, Inc., the country’s leading online retailer of original art and fine craft items, will conduct a personal book signing session on Saturday at 1 pm in the Special Events area of the exhibit floor. Throughout this beautifully illustrated book Sikes takes the reader on a room-by-room tour, detailing how to think about the artistic possibilities they offer.

Shop the Maine Wood Products Pavilion
A variety of exhibitors featuring the best of Maine’s furniture and accessory producers will present their work at the show under the banner of the Maine Wood Products Association. These will include David Jones of Maine Made Furniture Company, “The Woodsmiths” David and Diane Laliberte, Paul Smith of Cathedral Woodworking, William Diffenderfer, Kim Dailey, Al Mather of Sonlight Creations, and W.A.
