SHOWS
2009 Fine Furnishings & Fine Craft Show - MILWAUKEE

PRODUCT CATEGORIES
Furniture - Wood

DESCRIPTION
My focus is finely crafted furniture, lighting, doors and custom remodeling which centers around the architectural style of the Arts & Crafts Period and around the strong, simple style found in the Mission Style. The architecture of Greene & Greene and the Designs of craftsman like Gustav Stickley influence my work. The Arts & Crafts Period was a time in which true craftsmanship was as much a work of art as it was a profession.

Though I serve clients from around the country, my shop is located in the Northwoods of Wisconsin, and is source for fine woodworking in our country's midsection. My work is commissioned and all work is signed and numbered and one of a kind.

The unique appeal of my work lies in the attention to detail, the hand selected materials, and construction using the old world technique of mortise and tenon joinery.

Please visit my website at www.gallenbergstudio.com to view a collection of my work.
